(Story)
The brief
Maré sells loose-leaf tea from a single counter in Alfama. Their old tins looked like every supermarket shelf, and regulars kept them only until the tea ran out.
The work
We drew the tin from a pebble the founder keeps by the till. The lid carries an embossed wave mark, the label is a single cobalt band, and every blend shares the same quiet type.
The result
Customers now bring tins back to refill them. Refills went from a handful a week to a third of all sales in the first season.
